Permitting Coordinator - Daytona Beach, FL

ICI Homes is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permitting Coordinator to join our Operations team in the Daytona Beach area. This position is responsible for supporting the permitting process for residential construction projects and ensuring that permit packages, project documentation, and approvals are processed efficiently and accurately.

Previous experience in construction, homebuilding, permitting, or a related industry is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with residential permitting activities and permit application submissions
• Review construction documents for completeness and accuracy prior to submission
• Prepare and submit permit packages to various counties and municipalities
• Track permit status through county websites and follow up as needed
• Coordinate permit submissions and pickups with couriers
• Apply for job-site utilities and Architectural Review Board (ARB) approvals
• Prepare builder pre-start packages and project release notifications
• Record Notices of Commencement
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical project files
• Provide administrative support to Builders and the Operations Department
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience
• Experience in construction, permitting, homebuilding, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
