The team you will join
At iChoosr, you will join a team of 140 goal-getters with a proactive approach, strong sense of ownership and strong interpersonal skills. Your colleagues work across the US, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Poland and Japan. You will work closely with our dedicated Finance team based in Amsterdam, our dynamic business team in Tokyo, Japan, and our external accountants in the US and Japan. Reporting directly to our Finance Manager, this role offers flexibility as a part-time position in our Amsterdam office.
Your responsibilities
Perform meticulous bookkeeping for our Japanese and US entities.
Manage intercompany transactions and ensure accurate tracking.
Assist in audit processes and provide support to the Finance Manager.
Maintain orderly and accurate accounting records.
Track and record invoices regularly and systematically.
Handle expense entries and ensure their accuracy.
Manage all entries related to accounting in an organized manner.
Your expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
Demonstrated bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency in working with different currencies.
Experience with accounting systems such as “Freee” (Japan) and “XERO” (US).
Fluency in Japanese and English.
Nice to have (but not mandatory): Some knowledge/experience in tax and payroll.
