Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will excel in guest relations, communication, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in ensuring guests have a positive first impression and a memorable dining experience. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred, but we value enthusiasm and a genuine passion for guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and assist with reservations or questions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and waiting area
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist in guest relations by providing information about the restaurant’s offerings and amenities

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service/hospitality is preferred
• Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in guest services, serving, or hotel environments is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
