What you’ll do
- Greet and welcome guests with enthusiasm, providing them with menus and information about specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring prompt service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area through bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management.
