Dishwasher/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist in bussing tables by clearing dishes, utensils, and debris promptly after guests finish their meals.
• Support food preparation by assisting kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash regularly.
• Help set up for banquets or catering events by arranging tables and serving equipment as directed.
• Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service to guests during busy periods.

Skills

• Experience in bussing and cleaning within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is beneficial.
• Previous experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
• Ability to handle food safely and adhere to hygiene standards consistently.
