Duties
- Efficiently wash, scrub, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Ensure all kitchenware is spotless and ready for use in food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies when needed.
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing support and ensuring all eventware is cleaned promptly.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards in compliance with sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours while maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with food service operations including bussing, food handling, and basic kitchen tasks is advantageous.
