Position Overview
The Operations Coordinator provides essential administrative, logistical, and technical support for leadership development programs, client projects, school board initiatives, and on-site events. This role is hands-on, detail-focused, and ideal for someone who loves organizing, coordinating, and keeping projects moving forward.
The right person has strong communication skills, can learn new software quickly, and enjoys managing the behind-the-scenes tasks that ensure smooth operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Scheduling Support
- Schedule meetings, coaching sessions, workshops, and onsite visits.
- Coordinate logistics for leadership programs, trainings, chamber events, and school board meetings.
- Prepare materials, handouts, sign-ins, folders, and supplies for events.
- Assist with onsite setup, check-in, room organization, and technology needs.
Task Management & Follow-Through
- Track action items from meetings and ensure timely follow-up.
- Organize project lists and deadlines across multiple clients.
- Support “idea-to-action” execution—turning concepts into clear, manageable steps.
- Keep systems current with updated notes, tasks, and client details.
Communication & Client Support
- Draft and edit emails, documents, agendas, and reports with a warm, professional tone.
- Serve as a friendly point of contact for clients and partners.
- Communicate reminders, confirmations, and follow-up information as needed.
Technology & Digital Organization
- Manage files and documentation in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
- Create simple surveys in SurveyMonkey or similar tools.
- Build or update workshop materials, flyers, or templates in Canva.
- Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and client information in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Learn new programs quickly as needed for client systems (Zoom, project trackers, CRM tools, etc.).
On-Site Support & Travel
- Travel to client locations throughout North Georgia for onsite workshops and events.
- Assist with meeting setup, note-taking, sign-ins, and material distribution.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Skilled in written communication—clear, positive, and professional.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new programs quickly.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Excel, SurveyMonkey, and Canva preferred.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks without losing follow-through.
- Comfortable supporting events, meetings, and onsite logistics.
- Trustworthy with sensitive information; maintains confidentiality.
- A service-minded, proactive personality who enjoys supporting leaders and teams.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 25.0 per week
