Description
Performs diagnostic abdominal, vascular, small parts and pelvic sonography on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Requirements
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARDMS. Registration to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Working knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff and physicians.
Good interpersonal skills.
Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Good physical and mental fitness to meet demands of patients, families and physicians and call schedule.
