Description
Upon the order of the physician and the Medical Director of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment and provides therapy to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of patient with pulmonary disease, compromise and illness. Has full access to patient health information. Has access to medication storage areas, (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.
Shift: M-Thurs. 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Requirements
- Credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care. (RTT or CRT)
- Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Certified in Health Care Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
- A minimum of 5 years patient care experience.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in Pulmonary Rehabilitation preferred
- Current NC driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Good physical and mental fitness to meet the demands of emergency situations.
- Emotional maturity and stability. Practices good body mechanics.
