The Activity Director is responsible for the planning and implementation of activities for patients in the HB/SNF to encourage self-care, resumption of normal activities, and maintenance of an optimal level of psychosocial functioning.
Has full access to patient health information.
Shift: M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a Certified Activity Director Course.
Certification in BCLS.
Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
