Basic Qualifications:
- A completed bachelor's degree plus enrollment verification or 9 credit hours complete in a Master's degree program within data science or similar discipline
- Must be able to pass any required background check(s), which may include drug screening
- All work must be performed in the U.S. per contract requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- A completed Master's degree program within data science or similar discipline
- Enrollment verification or 9 credit hours complete in a Doctoral degree program within data science or similar discipline
- Proficiency in R and/or Python or statistical modeling, data manipulation, and visualization
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and repository management
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases
- Strong understanding of predictive modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms
- Familiarity with Docker for building and deploying containerized machine learning environments and applications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g. Azure Databricks, Azure Batch, Azure Blob/Table Storage)
- Familiarity with energy efficiency, utilities, or environmental analytics a plus
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and building scalable data solutions
