Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering tailored recommendations
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and well-stocked to enhance the shopping experience
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts
- Support team members with supervising responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth store operations
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Proven ability to upsell products and deliver excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and basic retail math is a plus
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
- Ability to demonstrate product demos confidently and effectively handle customer inquiries
