Position Summary
The Safety QC Clerk supports quality, safety, and compliance operations within the warehouse. This
role is responsible for conducting inspections, verifying program requirements, checking product
temperatures, inspecting trailers, and completing dock documentation.
This position serves as an operational support role focused on verification, documentation accuracy,
inspection preparedness, and process compliance across production and warehouse activities.
- Conduct pre-operational and daily SSOP inspections
- Verify product temperatures, weights, and scale accuracy
- Complete and maintain food safety and quality documentation
- Pre-inspect export shipments and ensure USDA inspection readiness
- Support trailer inspections and dock documentation
- Ensure compliance with Tyson program and regulatory standards
- Perform monthly fire extinguisher checks
- Identify and report food safety, quality, or compliance issues
- Assist with onboarding and ensure proper PPE usage for new employees
- Support operations by ensuring verification processes are consistently completed
- Other duties as assigned.
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Food Safety or Quality Assurance experience preferred (not required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
- Strong Attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with and communicate with all levels of staff (Bilingual preferred)
- Possess problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organizational skills.
- Ability to work at temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit while wearing company provided
