Position Summary
The HR Clerk ensures that all HR administrative tasks such as document scanning, file maintenance, reporting, and audits are completed accurately and on time. The HR Clerk provides support by maintaining organized and compliant employee records, assisting with onboarding documentation, and preparing basic reports as needed. This role works closely with the HR Manager and may assist with payroll and recruiting functions as the individual grows in the position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Scan, file, and maintain confidential employee records in compliance with company policy and legal requirements
• Assist in preparing and maintaining reports related to HR activities, such as attendance, new hire tracking, and audits
• Support onboarding by organizing documents, preparing new hire packets, and assisting with data entry into HR systems
• Help maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee data in HR databases and files
• Conduct basic internal audits of HR files and documents to ensure compliance and data accuracy
• Respond to employee document requests and route inquiries appropriately
• Assist with scheduling interviews, training, or meetings as needed
• Assist with payroll support and processing, including gathering and verifying timekeeping data
• Provide general administrative support and complete other tasks as assigned
Minimum Requirements
• 1–2 years of administrative experience in an office environment required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Basic knowledge of HR functions is a plus, but not required
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required
