Job Overview
Icebound Essentials is a growing ecommerce company specializing in cold-plunge and recovery products. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on person to support daily operations at our Cedar Park warehouse.
This is a starting position with approximately 20–30 weekday hours per week initially. The role has the potential to grow to as many as 40 hours per week as workload increases and the employee demonstrates reliability and proficiency.
Location: Cedar Park, Texas
Job type: Part-time with potential to grow to full-time
Starting pay: $20–$22 per hour, based on experience and mechanical aptitude
Schedule: Weekdays during normal business hours
What You’ll Do
- Pick, pack, and prepare ecommerce orders for shipment
- Receive deliveries and verify products and quantities
- Inspect incoming and returned products for damage, defects, and completeness
- Organize, label, stock, and move inventory within the warehouse
- Use carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and other basic warehouse equipment
- Inflate and leak-test cold-plunge tubs
- Document inspection and testing results with notes, photos, or videos
- Assist with basic product testing, troubleshooting, assembly, and parts replacement
- Use common hand tools while following established instructions and safety procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized
- Assist with other warehouse and operational projects as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through on assigned work
- Careful and detail-oriented, particularly when packing orders and inspecting products
- Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
- Able to work independently after receiving instruction
- Willing to learn new products, processes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and assist with team-lifting larger or bulky products
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
- Able to reliably commute to our Cedar Park warehouse
Mechanical aptitude is strongly preferred. Experience working on vehicles, appliances, pumps, HVAC equipment, plumbing, machinery, or personal repair projects is a plus. Formal technician experience is not required, and product-specific training will be provided.
Warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, assembly, repair, or inventory experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.
Growth Opportunity
This is a starting role with the opportunity to increase in hours, compensation, and responsibility. Employees who demonstrate strong performance may take on more product inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and mechanical work.
Hours and compensation will be reviewed after the first 60 days based on reliability, performance, demonstrated capabilities, and business needs.
