What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Program Manager (Infrastructure) position at Iceberg?
We are partnering with a world leading technology driven hedge fund to hire a Technical Program Manager to drive the delivery of large-scale, highly complex infrastructure programmes.
This is not a pure product role. It is a deeply technical position suited to someone who has built their career in computer science, engineering, or infrastructure, and who now operates at a senior programme level.
What We're Looking For
This role is designed for a high-calibre Technical Program Manager with 7–10 years of experience who thrives in demanding, high-performance environments.
You will be responsible for:
- Owning and delivering complex, business-critical infrastructure programmes
- Driving initiatives from design through to execution and completion
- Influencing senior stakeholders across engineering, infrastructure, and the wider business
- Holding teams accountable and maintaining delivery momentum across multiple workstreams
Example Programme Experience (Illustrative)
Candidates do not need to have delivered these exact projects, but should have led work of similar technical complexity and scale, such as:
- Operating system migrations (e.g. Red Hat to Ubuntu)
- Architecture transitions (e.g. Intel to ARM)
- Large-scale data centre rollouts or modernisation programmes
This is an infrastructure-heavy role requiring strong technical judgement and credibility with senior engineers.
Ideal Background
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Early career experience in software engineering, systems, or infrastructure
- Proven track record delivering mission-critical infrastructure initiatives
- Experience operating in Big Tech or hedge fund environments, where large, complex infrastructure programmes are driven to execution
- Comfortable working in organisations with high standards, pace, and accountability
Please only apply if you can demonstrate a proven background in leading complex, infrastructure-heavy programmes within Big Tech or hedge fund environments, driving initiatives from execution through to successful completion.
