I’m working with a growing legal technology company that is looking to hire an eDiscovery Data Specialist to join its client services/data operations team. The role will be 2-3 days onsite paying 68k - 73k USD.


This role would suit someone with 1–3 years of experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, data operations, technical support, or legal technology, who enjoys working with complex data, client requests, and technical problem-solving.


The role will involve:

  • Supporting complex data imports, exports, migrations, and processing workflows
  • Working with document load file formats including DAT, OPT, CSV, and LFP
  • Cleaning, manipulating, and converting data using Excel, third-party tools, and ideally some Python scripting
  • Troubleshooting data, file, and platform-level issues
  • Managing client service requests through a ticketing system such as Zendesk or Jira
  • Providing clear technical guidance to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, sales, and client-facing teams
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong attention to detail


The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1–3 years of experience in eDiscovery, data operations, litigation support, or technical support
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, macros, or similar
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery load files and legal data workflows
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Jira, or similar
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a client-service mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work accurately under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
