Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Iceberg Enterprises is a growing manufacturing company headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois with manufacturing and logistic facilities in Sturgis, MI. The company manufactures branded and custom blow molded plastic products incorporating metal fabrications, performs assembly and pack out, and provides full logistics function in the Sturgis facility.
Sales Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating communications and needs with customers and the Iceberg team, this role will integrate both Iceberg Office products sales and Contract sales.
Job Expectations:
- Develop and maintain relationships with contract and Iceberg accounts
- Provide customer service for custom business segment and act as point of contact for Iceberg Customer Service.
- Provide estimated lead times, order tracking, and confirm inventory availability.
- Handle all returns and issue resolutions for any shipping, quality, or manufacturing issue required for customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate order entry and job scheduling with company personnel insuring timely delivery of customer’s orders.
- Maintain communication log with promises made to the customers
- Verify customer supplied parts inventory and coordinate same with production scheduling and customer.
- Use innovative thinking to solve customer problems and be advocate for customer.
- Track customer molds, condition and report out of specification conditions.
- Provide BOM details to finances and track to ensure correct materials are assigned to each job.
- Responsible for filling out all correct paperwork to have new bill of materials set up and structured correctly per jobs awarded through the quote process.
- Coordinate and maintain inventory of all special tools and equipment delivered from and returned to customers.
- Help achieve sales target
- Use existing network of industry contact to generate new business
- Attend client meetings as required
- Completing administrative work as required – Promise log, customer complaint issue log, requesting RMA’s, and other tasks as necessary
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, outgoing, and dependable
- Understand sales process and able to work toward goals
- Able to work independently
- Excellent telephone and written skills, high attention to detail
- Engage management decision makers within company and all customers
- Proven track record or demonstrated skill set in customer service and support
- Skill in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Team player
Physical Requirements:
- Required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- May occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
- Working in an office environment with exposure to manufacturing areas.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
