Cash/Corporate Accounting Consultant

Overview

Job Purpose

The Cash/Corporate Accounting Consultant serves as a subject matter expert in mortgage servicing cash management and corporate accounting within ICE Mortgage Technology’s product suite, particularly MSP. The role centers on helping clients use ICE MT tools effectively, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring accurate, timely resolutions related to user interfaces, documentation, and platform functionality.

This is an in‑office role based in Jacksonville, FL; Provo, UT; or Omaha, NE

Key Responsibilities

• Support clients using ICE Mortgage Technology software with a focus on cash and corporate accounting functions
• Provide detailed research and analysis specific to client requests, within the environment and workflows
• Professionally communicate status and resolutions with clients, within established timeframes
• Act as a liaison between clients and IT teams to define requirements, document needs, and support system enhancements or regulatory changes
• Provide best‑practice consulting on mortgage servicing processes and their impact on integrated systems
• Perform system, integration, and acceptance testing—often using client data—to validate solutions.
• Train clients and internal teams on new features or processes
• Maintain high case‑resolution performance, aiming for first‑call resolution and minimal backlog
• Identify systemic issues, communicate defects/enhancements, and provide status updates
• Document all client interactions thoroughly and leverage knowledge bases and resources effectively
  
  

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Deep expertise in funds processing, asset or corporate accounting
• Strong loan servicing experience
• Functional knowledge in at least one of the following areas - payment/reversals, corporate advances, payoffs, suspense management, drafting, lockbox operations, reconciliations, FASB rules, daily balancing, and curtailments
• Experience in working directly with clients through complex workflows
• Experience in mortgage servicing strongly preferred, preferably within MSP
• Analytical, proactive problem‑solving abilities with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, remain composed under pressure, and collaborate across teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions confidently, maintain professionalism, make sound decisions, and drive positive outcomes for clients
