The Warehouse Associate will verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments involving inventory. Duties include verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material and arranging for the transportation of products. May prepare items for shipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, or containers, by hand or using trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks or other equipment
- Sort materials for shipment before loading or unloading in a timely manner; handling or stocking RUSH materials to designated area or person, keeping production floor full
- Clean, organize warehouse area, manage shortage sheets, keep IQ2 request log and execute other tasks as assigned
- Record shipping data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy
- Operate a company vehicle/truck as needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to operate industrial equipment safely and properly. Powered forklift & pallet jack experience preferred
- Attention to detail, follow instructions and to work independently and with a team required
- Punctuality and dependability a must
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Warehouse environment
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs., carry and walk about warehouse
- Loud noise and temperature variance according to weather conditions
