This role is vital in ensuring accurate project cost assessments and supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional climate control and enclosure solutions. The Estimator will play a key role in our project planning and execution.
Summary
Detail-oriented Estimator / Sourcing Specialist with experience in OSP fiber network enclosure projects, specializing in PON/FTTH infrastructure and power system integration. Knowledge of 48V power system (rectifiers, distribution panels), equipment heat dissipation, batteries (for backup), fiber optic splice trays/panels, and any other active equipment. Proven track record of conducting accurate cost analyses, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing material and labor costs to ensure project profitability and on-time completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple, fiber / power enclosure & integration projects.
- Identify and work to remove barriers to successful completion of the overall project.
- Facilitate decision making processes as appropriate, serving as liaison between project managers.
- Provide timely project status updates to the Sales Managers.
- Maintain and update company database.
- Serve as primary point of contact with external vendor representatives.
- Communicate with corporate staff regarding sourcing and purchasing issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Able to read general system layouts for PON fiber and power schematics.
- Track record of completing estimating work with a high level of quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suites.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
