Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of shaved ice flavors with precision and enthusiasm
- Engage with guests to take orders, answer questions, and recommend toppings or flavors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, ensuring health and safety standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently at the register
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the shaved ice station during shifts
- Manage guest interactions professionally, resolving any conflicts or concerns promptly
- Support event management activities during busy periods or special occasions
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage confidently with guests of all ages
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when necessary
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held
- Experience working with children or in entertainment environments such as theater or resort settings is advantageous
- Skills in conflict management, public speaking, and guest services are highly valued
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings in a lively outdoor setting
