What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Cream Truck Manager position at Ice Cream Jubilee?
Ice Cream Truck Manager
We're looking for someone who wants to run the show — not just show up.
We operate a mobile ice cream truck and need a manager who treats it like their own business.
You'll handle the day-to-day: driving the truck, serving customers, coordinating events, keeping
the truck clean and stocked, and building your own schedule. No one's going to micromanage you. If
you need that, this isn't the gig.
What you'll do:
- Drive and operate the ice cream truck at events, neighborhoods, and scheduled stops
- Build relationships with customers and keep them coming back
- Coordinate bookings for private events, festivals, and community gatherings
- Manage inventory, restocking, and basic truck maintenance
- Set and manage your own schedule based on demand and opportunity
- Track sales and report on performance
Who you are:
- Self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do
- Genuinely enjoys talking to people — kids, parents, event planners, everyone
- Comfortable behind the wheel of a larger vehicle (or willing to learn)
- Organized enough to juggle events, inventory, and a flexible schedule
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you see a slow Tuesday and figure out how to make it a busy one
- Reliable. Full stop.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- ServSafe or food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
Nice to have:
- Experience in food service, events, or mobile vending
- Basic mechanical know-how for minor truck upkeep
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Employee discount
- Flexible schedule
- Paid training
Language:
- English (Required)
License/Certification:
- Food Safety Certification (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
Salary : $22 - $24
