Duties
- Stock shelves, produce sections, and storage areas with accuracy, ensuring products are organized and accessible
- Support shipping & receiving processes by loading/unloading trucks and verifying shipment contents against documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members in multiple languages if needed to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting store visitors with product knowledge and locating items
- Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling of heavy or bulky items to prevent injuries
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for diverse customer interactions
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or stock levels
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and manual handling throughout shifts
- Knowledge of retail merchandising, product packaging, and store operations is beneficial
- Commitment to safe lifting practices and maintaining a clean working environment
