The City of Temple is excited to host its first annual outdoor ice rink, Rink on the Rails,
Ice-America is proud to be producing the skating rink at Rink on Rails! Skaters and non-skaters alike are encouraged to apply for this fun and exciting event designed to engage the community during the holiday season! Ice-America, a division of Seaside Ice, LLC, is a creator, producer, and operator of outdoor, temporary ice-skating rinks, and an ice event and television production group. We offer rapid deployment of turn-key portable ice rinks and operations in the US and Canada. We can literally make ice overnight and create unique entertainment events for communities, businesses, and other customers. Looking for strong ice skaters interested in joining our team in this fun work environment. Applicants must have the availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Local applicants preferred.
We are currently seeking fun, enthusiastic men and women for:
SKATE MONITOR: Experienced Figure/Hockey Skaters, 16yrs & older. Duties of the position include: Monitoring on-ice safety and ensuring all patrons are following the code of conduct, assisting fallen or struggling skaters, and responding accordingly to incident or injury. Applicants MUST be trained skaters, have their own skates and the ability to skate up to six hours per day. Your resume MUST include your ice skating background to be considered. This is an ON ICE position. Must have strong customer service skills. Compensation for this role starts at $15/hour.
