Your Position
Job description
As a Clinical Diagnostic Specialist, you’ll be responsible for administering various standardized diagnostic measures, as well as psychological and autism spectrum assessment tools to diagnose and/or rule out autism spectrum disorder. You’ll also work along with the Clinical Diagnostician, providing them with written diagnostics reports of the results for each case.
Responsibilities
· Utilizes tests with families and clients
· Accurate hand scoring of pencil and paper tests
· Writes diagnostic reports
· Works together as part of a multidisciplinary team
Education/Licensure
· Must have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, Education, Social work, or related fields.
· Must have Knowledge in ABA or related field with coursework in diagnostics/testing, Autism and related disorders, developmental disabilities.
· Must have experience with the following assessments: ADOS-2, DAYC-2, Kaufman Brief Intelligence Test, ABAS-3, Conners-4, PsychProfiler, PPVT-5, CASD, Sensory Profile, BASC BESS, Vineland, and be willing to be trained in additional test administrations as the needs arise.
- Experience in health care settings or behavioral health field preferred
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with families, schools, and ASD service providers in child’s community
- Effective organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills

HIPAA
Team members are required to adhere to policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information. Team members are permitted to use and/or disclose only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks. Reports all suspected violation of company’s HIPAA policies or procedures to Human Resources.
Environmental Stewardship and Safety
All team members are responsible for preserving the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility. Team members are expected to keep work and common break spaces tidy and to adhere to infection control protocols and policies.
Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, and, if applicable, use the appropriate protective equipment as ded.
Depending on role, and during the daily course of duties, team members may have to lift, twist, pull or push. Team members must be able to manage these activities up to 60 lbs.
Any accident or incident must be reported immediately to a member of management for proper recording.
