Job Responsibilities:
- Represents the face of the company to patients, supporting both routine health visits and important health decisions.
- Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
- Creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures and performing blood draws safely, skillfully, and accurately.
- Demonstrates Leadership Behaviors with a focus on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information.
- Performs daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintains a safe and professional environment at all times.
- Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence, following all established procedures.
- Maintains all required records and documentation.
- Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months experience required.
- 1 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
