Position Overview
ICare Psychiatry PLLC is seeking independently licensed Mental Health Therapists and Psychologists to join our outpatient practice as 1099 independent contractors.
Providers may practice at our Kent office, Tacoma office, or both locations, with telehealth also available.
You will benefit from in-house referrals from our psychiatric providers and ICare's existing patient network, helping you establish and grow your caseload.
What You'll Do
- Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families based on your experience and scope of practice
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers and other members of the care team when appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Practice in accordance with Washington State laws, professional standards, and ethical requirements

Qualifications – Independent Washington Licensure Required
Applicants must hold an active, unrestricted Washington State license that permits independent clinical practice without supervision, including:
- LMHC – Licensed Mental Health Counselor
- LMFT – Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
- LICSW – Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
- Psychologist – PhD or PsyD
Important: Associate-level licenses requiring clinical supervision, including LMHCA, LMFTA, and LSWAIC, are not eligible for this particular position.
Experience
Newly independently licensed clinicians are welcome to apply.
No specific number of years of post-licensure experience is required. Candidates must already hold an eligible independent Washington State license.
Compensation
- 1099 independent contractor
- 80/20 split based on collections
- Strong earning potential with an established referral pipeline
- Estimated annual earnings: $90,000–$150,000 , depending on caseload, schedule, payer mix, and collections
