About Us
iCare Health Services LLC provides care and support to children and adults with disabilities in group homes and day program settings. To ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman Contractor to partner with us on an as-needed basis.
Position Summary
The Handyman Contractor will provide repair and maintenance services for our group homes and day programs in Tucson. This role is contract-based—the contractor will not be on salary but instead will submit invoices for completed services.
Responsibilities
· Perform general repair and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
· Plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixture replacements).
· Electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches).
· Carpentry (doors, cabinets, shelving, minor structural fixes).
· Appliance installation and repair.
· Painting, patching, and general upkeep.
· Exterior maintenance (fencing, minor landscaping, touch-ups).
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management.
· Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards for residential care facilities.
· Provide detailed invoices for each service, including parts, labor, and date of service.
· Maintain clear communication with management regarding progress, needs, or delays.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or general contractor.
· Ability to perform a wide variety of repair and maintenance tasks independently.
· Own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation.
· Must provide proof of insurance and necessary licenses (if applicable).
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Professionalism and reliability when working in homes with vulnerable populations.
Contract Terms
· This is an independent contractor role (1099).
· Compensation will be based on approved invoices for completed services.
· Contractor must submit invoices that clearly outline labor, materials, and service dates.
· Work is as needed and may vary weekly.
