Tasks and Duties:

Tasks and Duties:
- Oversee the development of clinical standards, protocols, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with state-mandated regulations for Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Implement a peer review system and quality assurance program, conducting audits and implementing corrections as needed.
- Assist in developing new clinical programs and participate in facility site surveys imposed by authorized government agencies.
- Collaborate with the Facility Plan of Correction (POC) Committee to develop and implement plans to correct deficiencies.
- Develop methods for coordinating resident services to ensure continuity of care.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Must possess a degree in Nursing from an accredited school, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
- BS degree in Nursing or Public Health is preferred.
- Requires 8 years of progressively more responsible job-related experience in health care.
- Must have thorough knowledge of state survey process, survey tag numbers, and quality measures.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical standards and guidelines.
- Must be knowledgeable of Quality Assurance/ Improvement process.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet.
