ICAN Missouri Foundations is Seeking a Full-Time Program Manger to join our team!
Job description:
The Program Administrator is responsible for the overall daily operations, coordination, and supervision of the Day, Program Children's Program and Home and Community, ensuring that services provided meet the needs, goals and interests of individuals served. This position promotes person-centered support that foster community inclusion, skill development, and independence while maintaining compliance with agency policies, funding requirements, licensing, accreditation and regulatory standards. Maintain confidentiality of all individuals' Protected Health Information used for treatment, payment, health care, etc. as set up by the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996. (HIPPA)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Oversee daily operations of community living sites, including staffing, scheduling, documentation, compliance living sites, including staffing, scheduling documentation and compliance of applicable regulations, CARF accreditation standards and funding requirements. Manage program budgets, monitor expenses and assigned to support the mission and operations of the agency. Participate in planning improvement of the program to enhance service quality, and the growth of the department. The Program Manager promotes independence, inclusion and quality of life for the people served while supporting and mentoring program staff.
Additional Specific Responsibilities include the following:
1. Along with Individuals and staff plan and provide monthly calendars of events to individuals with families and home staff as needed.
2. Complete 100 % TOOLS observations on staff every month.
3. Assist with direct care and staff coverage in any department when staffing shortages occur to maintain service quality and operational needs.
4. Maintain physician orders for all medications, review controlled drug count as appropriate (per federal requirements) ; diagnosis for all medications prescribed; and side effects of medication as needed.
5.Provide close supervision and monitoring of proper medication administration reordering of Medication Administration Records (MAR)
6. Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure communication and consistency.
7. Ensure documentation accurately reflects individual's progress and service delivery.
8. Collaborate with families, guardians, and support coordinators to support individual's needs and goals.
9. Maintain accurate attendance, billing and program records in accordance with agency policies and state and federal requirements.
10. Maintain a clean, safe and accessible program environment.
11. Report incidents, accidents, and concerns in a timely manner.
12. Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on respect, dignity and inclusion.
13. Work collaboratively with other programs to ensure continuity of services.
14. Participate in agency committees, training, and strategic planning as assigned.
15.Abide by ICAN Personnel Policies as a condition of employment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES:
Program Administrator may participate in interviewing applicants for employment. Supervise direct support staff to ensure high quality services. Conduct monthly meetings with staff to discuss program information. Oversee the scheduling for staff.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass background and drug test. To perform this job successfully and individual must be able to perform essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:
Completion of a bachelors' degree or have at least a High School Diploma or GED and 5 years' experience directly with mental or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of person-centered planning, development disabilities services, and state and federal regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read English, Ability to write reports, service notes, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, individuals, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
The Program Administration-Community Living/Development Disability Profession (DDP) must be a insurable driver with Class E license as deteremined by the company's unerwriter. This person must be able to successfully complete and pass; Level 1 Medical Assistant (L1MA) CPR and First Aid Course, Abuse and Neglect Training, Positive Behavior Support, Missouri Quality Outcomes, Person Centered Planning and 14 hours of employment curriculum training, approved by the Division of DD.

Pay: $39,500.00 - $45,700.00 per year
