What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finnish Language Instructor - Part-Time Online position at ICA Language Services?
ICA is currently seeking an online Finnish Language Instructor. The candidates should have at least two years of experience teaching the target language in a proficiency-oriented environment to adult students on an intensive basis.
Job Details:
- Duration: 12 weeks total
- 11 weeks part-time (2 evenings/week, 2 hours/session)
- Final week full-time (5 days, 6 hours/day)
- Schedule: After 5pm EST
- Tuesdays & Thursdays initially; daily during final week
- Start: As soon as possible
- Level: ILR 3
- Goals: Improve complex speaking and reading comprehension
- Number Of Students: 1
- Flexible with scheduling
- The training program will include homework activities and should focus on developing the language skills such as: Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, Grammar, Pronunciation, and Culture
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of full-time experience teaching adult students
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- Native Speaker of the Finnish language
- Teaching Experience with Zoom online platform preferred
