Base Store Manager – Contractor Operated Civil Engineering Store – IBVI

Location: Hanscom AFB, MA

Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site

Salary Range: $63,000-$68,000 Annually

As a COCESS Store Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting this mission by leading the operations of a Contractor Operated Civil Engineering Supply Store (COCESS) at Hanscom AFB, ensuring efficient sourcing, accurate pricing, and exceptional service to our government partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage COCESS (Contractor Operated Civil Engineering Supply Store) to include sales, operations and Contract requirements.
• Source and price materials across multiple civil engineering trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC.)
• Create and manage product entries, quotes, and purchase orders in our system.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and fulfill requisitions in a timely manner.
• Track government spending and billing across multiple accounts, and ensure compliance with COCESS contract requirements, reporting, and billing deadlines.

A Typical Day

As the COCESS Store Manager, you’ll start your day by leading and supporting a small team, ensuring everyone is aligned with priorities and ready to meet the day’s goals. From there, your focus will shift to sourcing and pricing materials across a wide range of civil engineering trades, entering product data into the system, and preparing accurate quotes for government approval. You’ll track spending across multiple accounts, manage inventory levels, and ensure all reporting and billing deadlines are met, keeping operations running smoothly and in full compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• minimum of 5 years' experience in government or retail operations, possess strong leadership skills and be customer focused.
• Must have valid driver’s license, current Real Act compliant ID and ability to pass Federal criminal background check requirements to obtain a CAC (Common Access Card.)
• Strong product knowledge and sourcing skills, purchasing experience, and familiarity with commodities across multiple trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction.)
• Solid project management and time management skills in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in Excel and database systems, and excellent typing and computer skills.
