We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Beertender to join our dynamic team. As a Beertender, you will be responsible for serving a variety of beers, educating patrons about our offerings, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Serve beer and other beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Educate customers on different beer styles, brewing processes, and food pairings.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales skills to promote beverage offerings and enhance customer experience.
- Previous fine dining or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices essential for maintaining a safe environment.
- Experience in nightlife settings such as nightclubs or catering events is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage effectively with patrons.
Pay: $18.20 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 14.0 per week
