What are the responsibilities and job description for the Window Covering Installer position at IBP?
Key Responsibilities
- Install window coverings such as blinds, shades, shutters, and drapes according to measurements and specifications
- Measure windows accurately for new installations
- Inspect and prepare job sites to ensure safe, clean, and efficient installations
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for daily projects
- Troubleshoot and adjust coverings to ensure perfect operation and appearance
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure satisfaction
- Follow safety procedures and maintain company tools and vehicles in good condition
Qualifications
- Previous experience in window covering installation, carpentry, or a related construction trade preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional appearance and positive customer service attitude
Physical demands:
The physical demands of this role include standing for long periods, lifting up to [X] lbs, and handling materials and equipment. It requires manual dexterity, bending, and reaching, along with the ability to work in varying conditions while maintaining focus.
Pay: $22.00 to start
Schedule: Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.
