Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of furniture using specialized cleaning equipment, hand tools, and pressure washers to remove dirt, stains, and grime effectively.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and eye protection when needed during cleaning procedures to ensure safety at all times.
- Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture components or materials to facilitate thorough cleaning or repositioning.
- Apply industrial cleaning techniques for upholstery, wood surfaces, and other materials to restore furniture’s appearance and extend its lifespan.
- Follow safety protocols diligently.
- Maintain detailed records of completed jobs, equipment used, and safety checks to support quality assurance and operational efficiency.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to various furniture materials and finishes is a

Furniture Cleaning Technician (Independent Contractor)
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule
- 2–3 days per week
- Approximately 2–4 hours per day
- Flexible scheduling based on inventory
Requirements
- Must have or be willing to obtain a commercial-grade battery-powered (wireless) upholstery cleaning machine.
- Our storage facility does not have electrical outlets, so corded equipment cannot be used.
- Reliable transportation.
- Detail-oriented and dependable.
- Upholstery cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean and extract upholstered furniture.
- Remove stains.
- Vacuum and deodorize furniture wirelessly.
- Prepare inventory for photography and resale.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
This is an Independent Contractor position with opportunities for additional hours as inventory grows.
