AI Specialist (Volunteer)

Location: Hybrid – Fontana, CA Remote

About the Role

Iboto Empire and HRS Academy are looking for an AI Specialist (Volunteer) who wants to be hands-on with today’s most powerful AI tools and help turn ideas into real products, content, and systems.

This is an unpaid role, but it is not a “busy work” position. You’ll have room to experiment, build a serious portfolio, and test AI ideas that could grow into revenue-generating projects for both you and the organization.

You do not need to come in with every skill already mastered. If you’re motivated and willing to learn, there will be opportunities to be trained, coached, and guided on specific tools and tasks.

What You’ll Do

You’ll use modern AI tools (LLMs, image/video AI, automation platforms, etc.) to support two main goals:

1. Enhance HRS Academy training programs

• Use AI to draft and refine:
• Course outlines, lesson plans, quizzes, and lab exercises
• Slides, study guides, checklists, templates, FAQs
• Turn raw notes from instructors into polished, structured training content
• Help design AI-powered learning aids (chatbots, interactive practice questions, etc.)

2. Improve Iboto Empire’s efficiency and growth

• Build small AI workflows and automations to:
• Draft proposals, reports, and client emails
• Summarize meetings, documents, and research
• Organize knowledge into searchable AI “brains”
• Use AI to generate marketing assets:
• Social media posts, blogs, email campaigns, landing page drafts
• Prototype new AI-based services we can offer clients (AI consulting packages, automation audits, AI content bundles, etc.)

What You’ll Gain

• Ship real work that you can show in your portfolio (where confidentiality allows)
• Get clear credit for the ideas, workflows, and content you contribute
• Gain practical experience applying AI in an operational business and training environment
• Work directly with leadership and instructors on projects that touch students, clients, and revenue
• Explore AI concepts that, if commercially viable, may be developed into paid offerings with fair recognition and potential personal upside
• Access learning and training opportunities on AI tools, automations, and workflows you don’t yet know but are willing to master

This role is ideal for innovative thinkers who want to sharpen their skills, build a track record, and test entrepreneurial AI ideas in the real world.

Who You Are

You don’t have to be an AI researcher, but you should be comfortable with AI tools and hungry to learn. If you’re missing some of the skills below, that’s okay—training and guidance will be available as long as you bring commitment and curiosity.

You likely have:

• Hands-on experience with at least one LLM platform
• (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.)
• Strong prompt-writing skills and the ability to iterate on outputs
• Comfort using AI for content creation (text, images, or video)
• Basic understanding of how AI is used in business (summarization, drafting, analysis, Q&A)
• Awareness of responsible AI use, confidentiality, and data privacy

Bonus if you also have:

• Basic scripting/coding (Python or JavaScript) for automation
• Experience with data analysis/visualization (Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience in learning design, curriculum building, or technical training
• Familiarity with tools like Zapier, Make, Notion, Airtable, etc.

How You Work

• You think in systems: “If we did this once, how do we automate it next time?”
• You’re comfortable working independently and then syncing with the team (hybrid/remote).
• You communicate clearly in writing and in meetings.
• You’re curious, open to feedback, and willing to experiment and iterate.

Commitment

• Hybrid: remote work with occasional in-person meetings in Fontana, CA (as needed and agreed)
• Flexible schedule; suggested minimum: 5–8 hours per week for at least 3 months

You’ll collaborate with a designated Iboto Empire / HRS Academy lead and work closely with instructors and admin staff.
