Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Outdoor Material Handler to support daily yard operations. This role involves moving, organizing, and staging materials in an outdoor yard environment while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing physical work outdoors and has a strong work ethic. Forklift experience is not required — training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Move, organize, and stage materials throughout the outdoor yard.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials.
- Prepare materials for production, shipment, or customer orders.
- Maintain an organized yard and ensure materials are stored safely.
- Perform inventory checks and report damaged or missing materials.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Support general yard and material handling duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, landscaping, or general labor preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Willingness to learn and operate equipment after training.
- Reliable transportation required.
Preferred Experience
- Material handling experience.
- Manufacturing or industrial background.
- Experience working with building materials, lumber, steel, or similar products.
- Outdoor labor or yard experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
