Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Product Sales SME for Automation Platform - App Dev you will utilize your deep knowledge and experience with IBM's Application Development products to drive business growth. Your expertise will cover a range of products, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, and WebSphere Application Server. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop Solution Strategies: Design and develop comprehensive sales strategies for Application Development products, leveraging your deep product knowledge to identify opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Deliver Client-Facing Solutions: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions using IBM's Application Development products, ensuring seamless integration and optimal results.
  • Provide Product Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on product capabilities, best practices, and implementation methodologies to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Utilize your product expertise to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, developing and executing plans to drive revenue growth and expand IBM's market presence.
  • Foster Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective solution delivery.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Deep Knowledge of IBM Application Development Products: Experience with IBM's Application Development products, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, Enterprise Application Service for Java, Spectrum High Performance Computing, and WebSphere Application Server. Technical Acumen in Enterprise Software Solutions: Experience working with enterprise software solutions, including design, development, and implementation of complex systems.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Additional IBM Product Knowledge: Experience with other IBM products, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, Enterprise Application Service for Java, Spectrum High Performance Computing, and WebSphere Application Server, is beneficial.
  • Broad API Management Exposure: Familiarity with multiple API management and integration tools, such as API Connect, App Connect, Aspera, Cloud Native Gateway, and DataPower, is advantageous.
  • Hybrid Integration Experience: Knowledge of hybrid integration platforms, including Hybrid IPaaS, MQ, webMethods Data Exchange, and webMethods Integration, is desirable.
