System Administrator (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph)

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a System Administrator, you will work closely with IBM and clients’ leaders to plan, formulate, deliver, and deploy IBM BigFix based configurations and patches that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. As a member of IBM Technology Expert Labs, a team that is client focused, courageous, pragmatic, and technical, you'll collaborate with clients to optimize and trailblaze new solutions that address real business challenges.  This is primarily a patch management type of task and not a deskside support task. The role involves managing system parches and distributing system patches to end point nodes using BigFix software.

• Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understanding clients' main challenges and developing solutions that help them reach true business value by working through the phases of planning, communicating, implementation, and documenting various security mitigations, fixes and patches with a sense of urgency.
• Agile Planning and Execution: Creating, executing and documenting agile plans where you are responsible for creating fixes, installing and distributing fixes and patches across the network. Proactively monitoring and resolving help desk tickets.

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Patch and fix management Skills: Skills and knowledge for building creditability and service orientation with client stakeholders aligned to security solutions including for security modernization, data security, identity and access management, end point security, and threat protection.
• Strong Microsoft system administration skills specifically in the area of patch management.
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft group policy.
• Proven ability in assisting customers in debugging any implementation issues.
• Active TS/SCI Fullscope Poly clearance with the agency
