Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Strategy Consultant , you'll be working closely with Leaders across IBM’s Software business to understand opportunities and pain points, bringing together capabilities across strategy, innovation, design, data analytics, cognitive computing, and technology platforms to develop and deliver high-impact strategies and transformation programs. In your role, you will be responsible to:
- Perform data analysis, quantitative modeling, market analysis, competitive benchmarking, expert interviews, operational analysis and root cause identification
- Support strategic discussions with senior software executives, demonstrating acumen in the software business in the process
- Formulate decision-ready recommendations for senior business leaders
- Help structure and support change initiatives to deliver targeted business outcomes
- Independently manage a workstream on a consulting engagement
- Support their teammates as needed to deliver commitments to clients
- Meet the planning, control, and administration of any financial activities related to assigned projects

Master's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Foundational Experience in Strategy Consulting, Software, Product Management Finance or Data Science
- Proven experience in delivering strategic consulting engagements
- Ability to rapidly construct usable data sets from multiple structured and unstructured data sources
- Demonstrated expertise in applying analytical approaches to generate insights from complex data sets, including root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and the use of data science tools (e.g., SQL, advanced Excel).
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced, and multi-threaded environments. Can manage shifting priorities and progress multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Extenseive experience in Strategy Consulting in the Technology/Software industry
- Experience delivering strategic consulting engagements specifically in the software industry
- Deep experience in developing and applying strategic consulting methodologies
- Strong technical and analytical abilities, a knack for driving impact and growth
