Your Role and Responsibilities
A Strategy Analyst helps to solve our business unit’s toughest challenges as a trusted advisor to the rest of the organization. They conduct analysis on markets, competitors, and product fit; support various projects / engagements around demand and areas for growth; and proactively identify and work with the appropriate stakeholders across the business and IBM and more broadly to incorporate insights into the analysis. They ideally have a few years of top-tier management consulting experience to leverage strategic analysis and PowerPoint / deck creation skills.
Skills:
Strategy/Problem Solving: Experience with strategy / management consulting. Execution in market insights and analysis, primary and secondary data collection, structuring and creating clear and crisp PowerPoint slides.
Communication/Presentation: Teamwork and collaboration with colleagues across teams, functions, and business units. Clear written and spoken communication and executive presence.
Contribution/Leadership: Supports the strategic drive towards growth through market insights and events. Understands how their work supports the overarching mission and direction of the BU. May influence people on their projects.
Impact on Business/Scope: Accountable to the strategy and ops team and AI Apps business unit. Responsible for owning or significantly contributing to analyses. Responsible for quality output and accountable for individual and team results.
