Key Responsibilities
- Support sourcing activities, supplier evaluations, and proposal reviews
- Communicate with suppliers to gather pricing, proposals, and required information
- Participate in basic negotiations with guidance and document outcomes
- Assist with contract development and apply a basic understanding of deal structures
- Review and analyze small datasets to support procurement decisions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders through clear, professional communication
- Basic understanding of sourcing and procurement processes
- Strong communication, organization, and attention‑to‑detail skills
- Introductory analytical skills and comfort working with procurement data and tools
- Willingness to learn, follow established processes, and apply feedback

- Exposure to Commodity Sourcing: Experience working with commodity sourcing, including understanding demand, identifying suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
- Data Analysis and Benchmarking: Exposure to data analysis and benchmarking tools and techniques, with the ability to apply insights to inform sourcing decisions.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working with industry-specific knowledge, including understanding market trends, supplier dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
- Sourcing Process Management: Exposure to managing the sourcing process, including documentation, auditability, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Contract Negotiation: Experience working with contract negotiation, including developing negotiation strategies and achieving optimal outcomes.
- Deep Industry Knowledge: Experience working with industry-specific knowledge, including understanding market trends, supplier dynamics, and regulatory requirements, to drive effective sourcing decisions.
- Advanced Data Analysis: Exposure to advanced data analysis and benchmarking tools and techniques, with the ability to apply insights to inform complex sourcing decisions.
