Your Role And Responsibilities
The MSP Product Management team is responsible for guiding Apptio’s MSP strategy and collaborates with a diverse range of global stakeholders, including MSP partners, engineering, sales, product marketing, customer success, and support.
In this partner-facing role, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and technical expertise to work with our largest MSP partners and help them scale their business.
What You'll Do
- Engage directly with Cloudability’s MSP partners on a recurring basis to understand operational challenges and adoption needs and develop solutions to help MSPs scale their offering
- Synthesize customer feedback into prioritized, evidence‑based roadmap recommendations focused on the highest‑impact MSP needs.
- Own end-to-end product leadership for strategic MSP capabilities, working with AWS and other ecosystem partners.
- Single point of accountability to drive product direction and enable informed, cross‑functional decisions across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Support.
- Serve as the authoritative owner of the Cloudability MSP product narrative for GTM, defining what the product is, is not, and how it should be positioned by Sales, Presales, and Customer Success. Create GTM outlines, product expectations, and a validation process to ensure consistent, accurate execution across all field-facing teams.
- 5 years of experience working with Managed Service Provider partners who offer Cloud financial management services to their end customers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Cloud Financial Management
- Strong technical acumen and demonstrable experience with Cloud-based architectures and exposure to cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM, etc.)
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture and engineering workflows
- Ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous, fast-moving situations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable communication
- Fluent with automation/scripting (Python, Terraform, etc.)
- Prior experience in Pre-Sales (Solutions Consultant/Sales Engineer - SE) and Technical Account Management (TAM) roles
- Familiarity with Kubernetes cost management
