Key Responsibilities
Primary: Security Operations Center (SOC) Leader
- Oversee a multi-disciplinary team of security professionals to monitor and analyze security events and alerts through Genetec, AMAG and other SOC platforms.
- Perform triage, escalation, and initial incident response for security events across the environment.
- Tune and optimize SOC tools to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
- Generate SOC‑related metrics, incident summaries, and reporting for leadership.
Risk & Threat Management
- Support location-specific risk assessments and security audits; help identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
- Assist in evaluating security implications of acquisitions, divestitures, or facility changes.
- Provide on‑site support for installation, maintenance, and optimization of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
- Ensure alignment with corporate technology standards and participate in recommended enhancements.
- Assist in maintaining emergency response plans and coordinating on‑site training and offsite drills.
- Support incident response activities and ensure proper documentation and corrective actions for location‑based events.
- Support investigations involving theft, fraud, workplace violence, or physical‑security violations.
- Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance, corporate policy adherence, and audit readiness.
- Partner with Facilities, HR, Legal, and IT teams at the site level.
- Help monitor vendor performance related to physical security operations.
- Contribute to local reporting on security metrics, incidents, and improvement initiatives.
- Support training, awareness programs, and continuous‑improvement efforts for the location.
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- SOC & Technical Expertise: Strong ability to detect, analyze, and respond to security events using SOC tools and networking fundamentals.
- 3–5 years of experience in SOC, cybersecurity, corporate security, or related operational security roles.
- Experience with security systems (Genetec, Lenel, AMAG Symmetry)
- Proficient in security tools, Microsoft Office, and basic network‑analysis utilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Security , SSCP, CySA , CPP, or PSP preferred.
