Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Digital Technical Specialist focused on the IBM Storage Portfolio, you will drive the strategy, sale, and deal closing for Storage offerings. You will work closely with the Brand Sales Specialist and Ecosystem team to achieve territory objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop Storage Sales Opportunities: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for selected Storage products, including Storage for Data and AI, Traditional Distributed External Storage, and Storage for Cyber Resiliency & Modern Data Protection.
- Deliver Revenue Growth: Collaborate with the sales team to deliver unique, incremental revenue and value aligned with territory objectives.
- Maintain Technical Proficiency: Keep technical skills and product knowledge up-to-date to effectively sell and support Storage offerings.
- Leverage Marketing Initiatives: Utilize marketing efforts to drive Long-Term Value (LTV) and support business growth.
- Drive Deal Closure: Proactively engage with clients and stakeholders to close deals and achieve sales targets.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Storage Technology Expertise: Experience with IBM Storage Portfolio, including Storage for Data and AI, Traditional Distributed External Storage, and Storage for Cyber Resiliency & Modern Data Protection.
- Sales and Deal Closure Skills: Experience with driving sales strategy, identifying new sales opportunities, and collaborating with sales teams to deliver revenue growth.
- Technical Proficiency Maintenance: Experience with keeping technical skills and product knowledge up-to-date in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
- Marketing Leveraging: Experience with utilizing marketing initiatives to drive business growth and Long-Term Value (LTV).
- Product Knowledge: Experience with Storage Networking, Storage for Z Systems, and Storage for Hybrid Cloud offerings.
- Storage Solution Selling: Exposure to developing and executing storage solution sales strategies, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering revenue growth in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Technical Product Knowledge: Experience working with various storage technologies, including Storage Networking, Storage for Z Systems, and Storage for Hybrid Cloud offerings, with the ability to maintain technical proficiency in a rapidly evolving landscape.
