Ibis Manufacturing is seeking a reliable Forklift Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, product movement, and material handling.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9am-5:30pm).
The ideal candidate is experienced in fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environments, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and makes sound decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials and products.
- Perform intake and outtake of materials, ensuring accurate tracking across warehouse.
- Stage, organize, and store inventory according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Manage order packaging, palletizing, and preparation for shipment.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and damage.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and reporting hazards.
- Participate in routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Collaborate with warehouse team and supervisors to support production schedules, clean safe work environment and workflow.
- Accurately prepare and record for proper in/out take of deliveries/shipments
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage materials handling tasks including stacking, organizing, and storing inventory within the warehouse
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage space and improve workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, intake/outtake, or manufacturing experience required.
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Ability to confidently and safely operate forklift and pallet jack
- Ability to lift, move, and carry boxes or materials weighing 45 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse documentation and material flow.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to operational procedures.
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset.
- Strong organization, pace and sense of logistics to ensure smooth fulfillment operations
Experience
- Proven warehouse experience with a focus on distribution, logistics operations, manufacturing or machine work
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jack
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting basic issues with forklifts or other machinery
- Experience in shipping & receiving processes including load & unload procedures
- Prior roles involving order picking, heavy lifting, or construction site work are highly advantageous
- Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing setting.
- Repetitive boxing, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on warehouse conditions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
