POSITION SUMMARY:
The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Under the supervision of a Psychiatrist and Program Manager to patients. This advanced professional position provides treatment services intended to assist persons with mental illness by prescribing psychotropic medication to stabilize their condition within hospital setting in Advent Ocala location.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MA of Psychiatric Nursing with current Florida ARNP license. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, consumers, employees, and the general public.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Responsible for conducting medication clinics, monitoring and altering drug therapists according to established protocol and consistent with the practice setting
- Perform Diagnostic evaluation of consumer needs.
- Coordinates monitors and supervises the delivery of clinical treatment services provided by clinicians and support services staff.
- Completes required consumer-related documentation for clinical services and maintains up-to-date clinical records.
- As program Clinical Administrator provides on-call as required.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with other internal departments and programs, as well as community agencies.
- Continues professional development through in-service education, workshops, conferences, and self-study necessary to maintain current knowledge applicable to the position.
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Adheres to all applicable federal, state, local, and company-maintained standards of compliance, ethics, and policies concerned with the administration and delivery of agency services.
- Meets deadlines, requirements, and expectations as established by the supervisor, agency, and department.
