The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Lab Services Coordinator and Lab Services Manager in the efficient operation of the Lab Services Department.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication skills to respond to individuals served, co-workers, and visitors.
- Computer proficient to navigate through various systems to complete assigned tasks.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet patient respectfully and courteously, assisting with any questions and escorting to various areas within the building as necessary.
- Observe gender-specific urine drug screenings and process the chain of custody and associated paperwork with an accuracy rate of 99%.
- Perform Breathalyzer tests, PEth collections, and collection of oral fluid and hair samples, and process necessary associated paperwork.
- Perform manual CLIA waived tests and deliver results to appropriate departments.
- Accession urine samples in the laboratory and maintain reagent logs.
- Pull samples for confirmation, prepare paperwork, and package samples for shipping, returning the remainder of the sample to the sample freezer as needed.
- Process and record "incompletes" as assigned.
- Set up access for new employees in Call2test and generate a monthly schedule.
- Generate billing for urine collection transactions after every observed urine collection and resolve billing issues as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment while adhering to all safety policies and notifying supervisors of any potential safety issues, etc.
- Assist with lab-related paperwork, including but not limited to affidavit processing, residential forms, sorting, billing, and filing.
- Track, record, and file confirmations, waste manifests, packing slips, purchase orders, etc.
- Maintain inventory, ordering, and restocking of supplies, distributing packing slips to supervisors as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

General healthcare setting in a fast-paced work environment. Team-oriented approach with high durability to multitask with internal and external customers. Climate-controlled, with most work performed sitting and standing throughout the shift.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Abilities include reaching, bending, talking, sitting, carrying, standing, grasping, fine hand coordination, hearing, reading, writing, and staying calm under stress. Must be able to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision abilities required include close-up, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be capable of lifting 15 pounds alone.
Salary : $34,040 - $48,606
