Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and electrical blueprints reading.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to all NFPA 70 compliance standards.
• Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; execute precise repairs to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide installation and maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring all work meets local electrical codes and safety procedures.
• Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing industrial equipment.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction site experience to complete projects accurately while maintaining a focus on electrical safety procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams during renovation or construction projects; perform framing carpentry or handyman tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.

Experience

• Proven experience as an electrician specializing in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems in construction or renovation environments.
• Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation controls, and industrial electrical systems.
• Construction site experience with a focus on safety procedures for high-voltage work environments.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team on large-scale projects requiring precise execution.
• Additional handyman or frame carpentry skills are considered a plus for supporting diverse project needs.

Pay: $17.33 - $34.66 per hour
